In the TECHWOODHOME, what we need for the life of the future is already being built in today. All technology is fully integrated from the start of planning to construction. We select the most suitable devices and dimension them for each house in such a way that ideal living quality is combined with maximum efficiency.

Innovative solutions
When a house is built, usually the architect plans, the builder builds, and the plumber and electrician install devices and equipment. In order to create the house of the future, we took a new path: from the very beginning, we brought architects, builders, smart tech hardware and software experts to the table. This is how innovative ideas and solutions are created.

Fully integrated technology
When planning the TECHWOODHOMES, we made sure that the installed technology would be fully integrated right from the start. This created solutions also reflected in the design that improve and simplify the use of technology.

Less work, more life
Our demand for the furnishings: ongoing maintenance work on the house should be kept to a minimum. Specifically, this happens in the TECHWOODHOME by connecting all devices to electricity in order to avoid charging and generally making use of technology to carry out work.

Home Office 4.0
A professional workplace in your own four walls is becoming increasingly important. We have taken the home office a step further: It's integrated into the living space, but can be separated if necessary. Numerous sockets, sufficient daylight lighting, storage space for shelves and printers, and the specially developed automatic partition create the home office of the future.

Technology at any cost? Not with us. We use technology exactly where and when it makes sense and brings real benefits to everyday life.

Fully equipped
Retrofitting the technology is costly and time-consuming. That's why all of the relevant smart technology is already built into all TECHWOODHOMES, such as RFID, QR and bluetooth access, alarm systems, robotic lawnmowers, light and motion sensors, e-car charging stations, photovoltaic systems on the roof, battery storage and much more. All devices were selected based on our experience and optimized for the respective house type.

Future technology
In addition to the use of proven technologies such as photovoltaic panels, we are constantly using new types of solutions such as wall and ceiling heating elements. And in the area of sensors and other technologies, we are always on the lookout for meaningful innovations not yet widespread on the market.

Inhouse developments
Thanks to the diverse expertise of our team, we also develop our own technical solutions. In addition to the smart entrance pylon or the TECHWOODHOMES control hardware, we design clever solutions for various aspects of daily life, such as the automatic shielding of the home office area.

Sense of purpose
From our point of view, not every new smart home technology makes sense. With all the innovations, we always ask ourselves whether they can actually improve life in our TECHWOODHOMES and make it easier. For example, in order to use solar panels sensibly, a battery storage system is always required, which is why we've integrated one into each of our houses.

Every question we ask about the house of the future always has one focus: the residents. How can we improve living in their home and reduce workloads so that life can be enjoyed in the home day-in and day-out?

TECHWOOD Dome
The TECHWOOD Dome is the central living area in the living room and kitchen. With a room height of 5.43 meters, glass elements, and a gallery, it creates a unique sense of space.

Floor-to-ceiling windows
Optimal lighting has a major impact on our sense of wellbeing. In addition to a complete lighting concept, the TECHWOODHOMES have floor-to-ceiling window elements on all floors not only to let in lots of daylight into the house, but also to connect the indoors and out.

Optimized heating and cooling
We deal with the measurement and use of surface temperatures. With the help of floor, wall, and ceiling heating elements, the surfaces of each room are kept at pleasant temperatures. This leads to a sense of wellbeing, even at comparatively lower air temperatures. It avoids drafts during cooling, for example, and reduces the necessary maintenance work as there are no filters to clean. This system was calculated and designed for every inch of TECHWOODHOME.

An app that makes life easier.

One house, one app
With the app specially programmed by TECHWOODHOMES, the entire house can be controlled and operated with just a single app. And it can do even more, because we have stored the room layout including room sizes in it.

Overview
In addition to the control, the app also provides an overview of all the relevant house data: from meter readings to consumer performance and the production output of the photovoltaic panels, as well as the charge status of the battery storage. This way, you can always keep an eye on your TECHWOODHOME.

Status information
The built-in sensors and contacts recognize which windows and doors are open or closed. If you leave the house, the app informs you whether you've left a window or door open.

Additional features
In addition to controlling the home, our app offers many other features that, for example, make maintenance and renovation easier. In the future, there will also be the option of sending emergency notices to a specified group of people, among other things.

Integrated and expandable scenarios
Pre-programmed scenarios make it possible to mix and match different functions of the TECHWOODHOME. An example? It's evening and you want to relax: the lights are dimmed, the blinds adjusted accordingly, and your favorite music is coming from the speakers. Use the app to select any preset programs or create your own scenarios.

Plan management
You'll be surprised how often you need your home's plans to find out where wiring or pipes were laid. In the TECHWOODHOME app, you can find this information at a glance: from property information to floor plans and dimensions to the plans of the various connections in the walls. Everything central, everything always at hand.

Sustainable building practices
We think the house of the future has to be sustainable. That is why all TECHWOODHOMES are made of timber frame construction, insulated with sheep's wool and plastered with clay in the interiors. This not only ensures a responsible way of building, but also offers a unique indoor climate and sense of wellbeing.

Energy efficiency
Not just the raw materials used to build our homes are sustainable, the entire TECHWOODHOME is designed to be extremely energy-efficient. From the insulation to the heating and cooling to the dimensioning of the photovoltaic elements and the materials used, we pay attention to efficiency.
